Attention to airspace when special activities active
General
Special activities other than GA and ultralight flying may occur at Herning Airport. Thorough preparation increases safety for all. Be aware that downwind traffic often occurs on both sides of the runway.
Landing circuits during school flights
Landing circuits during commercial school flights must be varied between the shown downwind corridors and must be reported for every flight. Landing circuits during commercial school flights are not allowed 2 weekends a month. This will be published by NOTAM.
Skydiving
When skydiving is active you must pay attention to the local procedures, including placing your downwind leg at least 2 km south of the runway.
RC Airfield
Flying through designated airspace below 1000 feet is prohibited when the beacon is active on the RC airfield south of Skinderholmvej.
